The districts in the northern parts of Pittsburgh -Avonworth, North Allegheny, Quaker Valley, Fox Chapel- pay pretty well ($75-85) to start, and typically increase after you've worked 30 days as a sub collectively.
Google "Northern Area Substitute Teacher Service" if you're interested. It's a confederated-type deal where 6 schools all chip in to one service. You operate per diem according to whenever you're available through either the on-line or phone system.
